Residential Services
In the residential program Enrestoration, Inc has served individuals ranging in age
from four (4) to seventy-four (74) through a nurse managed system of care. We are home to
individuals from Department of Human Resources, Mental Health/Department of
Intellectual Disabilities, and the community providing long term care.
This organization offers specialty services to specific population groups-dual
diagnosed, autistic spectrum disorder, neurologically impaired, married couples with
significant impairments, and the non-verbal. We tailor programs to fit their individual needs
and lifestyle to provide more independence.
The Residential Care Staff is scheduled in shifts and work four (4) days on and three
(3) days off. This provides for continuity of care for individuals served and an extended
period of downtime for staff working with a sometimes challenging population.
The Residential Staff is directly supported and supervised by the Program Services
Manager, Qualified Developmental Disability Professionals (QDDP's) certified by
DMH/DID, and on-site nurses. There is also a Staff Developmental Manager to provide
ongoing training and development activities for individuals served and staff.
The Residential Department, is also supported by the Clinical Department, which
was established in June 2004. It was established to meet the behavioral needs of the
intellectually disabled. Since its inception, the Clinical Department has been committed to
meeting the special needs of the individuals served.
The Clinical Department is headed by a Doctorally prepared Clinical Director with
specialized training in Behavioral Management. The objectives of the Clinical Department
are:
• To assist with problematic behaviors that impedes their day to day interactions.
• To explore with the individual the utilization of positive techniques to address
difficult issues.
• Strive to instill in those served the ability to reach their optimal level of success.
This Department provides individual and group therapy; behavioral management and
specialized plans; crisis counseling; Professional Nursing Services; and Crisis Stabilization.
Finally, other onsite supports for individuals served and staff, include supply which
stocks items utilized daily by the department, and housekeeping department, and
maintenance department. All those departments work collaboratively to ensure individuals
served and staff needs are met, in addition to maintaining the facilities in which they live
and work.
