Life can be extra-challenging for a person with special needs. It might be harder to do normal stuff — like learning to read or, if a person has physical handicaps, just getting around town or the mall. The good news is that our Day Habilitation Program can help. The goal is to help them be as independent as possible.
Our Day Habilitation Program provides a person with a variety of opportunities to increase and/or maintain previously learned skills. Each person is involved in an individualized program addressing references, needs, and reinforcing strengths. The focus of this program is to maximize independence through involvement in appropriate center and community-based training activities such as:
